I am currently seeking a position in sales, marketing,
or as an account executive or manager.
I
was the sales manager for the largest company in North America to do customized or promotional apparel. My sales leads led to orders from
companies such as Harrahs, Knott's Berry Farm, and Paramount's
Kings Dominion. These leads were developed by myself "cold-calling." As sales manager I was responsible for gathering market and customer information; staffing trade exhibitions;
negotiating variations in price, delivery and specifications with both the customers and the managers; recording sales and
order information and sending copies to customer service and production; making accurate, rapid cost calculations; liaising
with
customers to include for both sales and customer service; maintained detailed knowledge of the company's products while keeping
abreast of what competitors offered; maintained relationships with existing customers by routine follow-ups via telephone
and email; developed resources for additional products requested by customers not normally produced by the company; followed
orders from the initial sale through production and shipping with follow-ups to insure the customer received and was pleased
with the product; and developed and assisted in implementation of new product lines to offer customers.
